Wearing colors from the same color family such as red and pink might have been considered a fashion faux pas back in the day, but not anymore.
In fact fashion these days is all about monochromatic looks or different shades of the same color. Pink and red might be a bit far apart from each other but do fall under the same color family.
Harper’s Bazaar published an article in 2017 on how celebrities were seen wearing red and pink together a lot that season. You can read it here.
Well, it might be time to bring it back this season.
I have gathered some really cool inspirations from Pinterest that show us how to wear this color combination together without making it look like Valentine’s day. So here you go:
You can pair a baby pink shirt with Maroon pants
love how the Maroon fur is adding to the look!
Try pairing different fabrics
like a silk skirt with a cashmere sweater
You can choose to wear a statement piece
such as this beautiful fur coat!
This beautiful pleated Jersey midi skirt by Givenchy!
Check out here how we styled this exact skirt in one of the looks we created for spring last year!
Wear a pantsuit with red accessories
Classy pink top with red bottoms/skirt
Love how it’s an all-red outfit with a magenta blazer on top!
A cool t-shirt and a blazer with jeans
