Wardrobe Staples You Need In 2019

It’s spring and we rounded up Wardrobe Staples 2019! This time of the year is always a great chance to showcase your style.  However, with the trends overflowing, it’s hard to keep track of what’s in and what’s not.

Are you wondering what to buy and what to get rid of from your closet? Thankfully, I have curated a list of top wardrobe staples you need in 2019 to stay ahead in your fashion game. 

We got to enjoy some amazing trends in 2018. Some of them were groundbreakingly new and some made a comeback from the 90s. Spring 2019 has just begun and there are new trends flooding already. It can be tricky to know what to stack up your wardrobes with. Scroll on to find out the basics you’ll need that will last you this season (spoiler alert: A few last year trends are still in!):

1. WIDE LEG TROUSERS

You cannot go wrong with wide-leg denim this year. The trend might have surfaced last year, but is sure to stay here for long.

Pair these with literally any cute top from your closet and you’re good to go. And here’s a secret, literally any type of shoes go with them. Sneakers, flats, booties, heels, anything!

One of my favorites, Linen trousers. Linen trousers are must-haves for spring and summer wardrobe. It looks classy and is hella comfortable. And the best part about linen trousers is that they can be styled to look formal or casual. You can literally wear them to the office or to the beach. Only a few closet pieces allow that kind of flexibility, isn’t it?

2. Print Pantsuit

Print pantsuits look so chic and spring is the perfect time to flaunt them. This is also one of my favourite items in Wardrobe Staples 2019. Depending on how much you like to experiment with your looks, you can go from florals to check prints. The best thing is that they bring drama to boring work outfits.

3. Ski glasses inspired sunglasses.

These are literally the hottest things you can add to your spring/summer style game. The ski-goggles-inspired sunglasses by labels like Gucci and Balenciaga were big hits in the Paris Fashion Week.

These styles are available in a range of color options and you can pair them with denim jackets and plain tees.

4. A Plain-White Tee

Speaking of tees, a closet is incomplete without a basic white tee. A plain t-shirt is always a go-to option for a casual day. It is a perfect way to dress down any dress for a day out. Or just pair it with culottes, skirts, shorts. Honestly, there are a gazillion ways to style a nice plain tee.

5. Ruffles

Ruffles are making their way back into the streets with almost every piece of clothing. You can see Ruffled tops, dresses, skirts, and even ruffles on bikinis! And they do add the ‘pretty’ to everything! So make sure you add this to Wardrobe Staples 2019 and spring style. 

 

6. Belt Bags

Ah! Super chic, super comfortable and super fun! Belt bags make anything look casual and stylish. On top of that, they leave your hands free and you don’t have to carry handbags around. 

7. Converse, Booties and Flip-Flops

So, the classic Chuck Taylor Converse are back in trend, and the white ones are all you need to pair with literally every outfit. Wonder why they ever went away? Same. 

Also, the big Fila Sneakers have certainly become a staple piece lately and are sure to keep you trendy for long. 

More on the list, White or black ankle boots. They instantly make any look complete. These ankle boots give your outfit the needed combination of classy + chic. You know you are ready to slay the streets when you head out wearing them. 

8. Industrial Belt by Off-white

If you’ve been active on social media, you must know how much the industrial belt by off-white has been trending. It looks so cool, no matter what you throw it on with. It’s a must-have accessory this spring. An absolute hit with the fashion influencers and also part of our list for Wardrobe Staples 2019. 

9. Brass Bag
